East Hampton Baptist Church
Enter to Worship, Leave to Serve
Here at East Hampton Baptist Church, it is our mission to bring the unsaved,
the misunderstood, the broken hearted, the hurting and the disillusioned
people of the greater Buckroe area into the presence of Jesus Christ,
keeping Jesus Christ the central focus of worship and through this, we show
people the love and power of the Holy Spirit.
 | | We believe that the bible is the inspired word of God and is without
|
error. The bible is the final authority in faith and life.
In various translations from the kings English to
the present modern translation
 | | We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons:
|
God the father
God the son
God the Holy Spirit
 | | We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of |
| | a virgin and is fully God and fully man.
|
 | | We believe that man was created by God in the image of God.
|
Then man sinned and there by incurring not only physical death but
also spiritual death. And in that sin separated man from God
 | | We believe that all human beings were born with a sinful nature
|
and are sinners by birth and by choice man is inclined to sin
and thus under condemnation without excuse.
 | | We believe that the only hope for man is to be redeemed back to God |
| | is to believe in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and be regenerated through the Holy Spirit of God leading to a repentive heart for the committing of sins.
|
 | | We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross as the supreme
|
sacrifice for all man kind. We believe that three days
after Jesus died on the cross he rose from the dead. LITERALLY!
 | | We believe all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ through faith are
|
born again and are saved through faith by grace and are eternally
secure.
 | | We believe in a literal heaven and a literal hell.
|
 | | We observe two ordinances which are commanded in the bible:
|
1) Baptism
2) The Lord's Supper (or communion)
 | | We believe full immersion is the only form of Baptism revealed and
|
commanded in the Bible.
 | | We believe the Lord's supper is a memorial of the death of Jesus, |
| | those that are saved and walking in fellowship should only partake of it.
|
 | | We believe that the New Testament church is a body of born again
|
believers baptized assembled together to worship with Jesus being the
center of that focused worship. And to serve by taking this message of
salvation to the world both at home and abroad.
 | | We believe that all saved are called into a life of separation. This
|
separation is at least three areas:
1) Moral
2)Personal
3)Ecclesiastical
 | | We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ in the physical
|
and the spiritual. At this time, he will raise both sinner and saint
and both will be judged accordingly; either eternal punishment or
eternal heaven. | |
